2007 TT 3.2L Idling Issue - RPM low?
Hi all,
I've had my 3.2L 8J 2007 V6 TT for about 3 months now and I'm loving it. It's done 63,000km and up until now hasn't had any issues.
I went to start it earlier today (I haven't driven it for 4 days because I've been sick at home) and after about 30-45 seconds of waiting for the engine to warm up - I heard the engine winding down a bit and the Rpm dropped from about 1200 (or so) to about 500-600.
When I was driving it, I felt I had to push it a bit harder than usual. It didn't seem to drive as well as usual. I tried turning it off, leaving it for 5 minutes and turning it back on - but it did the same thing. Whenever I was idle, the RPM would drop back to 500-600.
Can anyone suggest what the issue might be? It's got me a bit worried. Should I just take it straight to the mechanic?
Thanks,
Michael
