2008 Q7 4.2 Quattro battery draining

Hello I bought a 2008 Q7 4.2 Quattro 100k miles back in December one month later it was not maintaining a charge dealer said they had just replaced battery and that the lack of driving it had caused it to die I had already tested that theory myself and checked that off the list I explained so they agreed to replace the everything was fine after for about a month and battery wouldn't maintain charge I took it back they said the alternator was bad so we replaced it. 2 months later and the vehicle has had to be jumped about 4 times now.Can any one please help me, have you had a similar problem? The dealer ship was not a Audi dealer but the mechanic who did the work is an Audi specialist and pretty pricey but good just trying to get a head start before taking it in. Thank you in advance

Battery drains are hard to track down. Are there any aftermarket electrical items installed that may not be powering off when the key is off? Putting an Ammeter on the battery to see how much current is being pulled with the car off is a good starting point. It's going to pull a little current even when the car is off because of the nature of automotive electrics and computers these days. If it's high having someone watch it while you go through and pull fuses to see which one causes the reading to drop will help isolate what circuit could be causing the issue.
