2009 A4 2.0T Quattro hesitation at take off
 

I recently bought an 09 A4 2.0T Quattro back in February. It has 50K miles and all past services had been performed at the dealership where i purchased the vehicle. I've noticed there is a hesitation when i press on the gas from a dead stop, cold or warmed up. I recently took it in and the dealership. They told me that they did a software update, that it will take up to 500 to 1000 miles for the car to re-learn the way that i drive and that should take care of the hesitation. I've also noticed there is a loud ticking noise at idle. The dealership told me that is normal for the A4's because of the injector ports. Seriously? That doesn't sound right at all. I feel like they are totally blowing smoke up my ass because I am a woman and i don't know what I'm talking about. I'm sorry but being a woman doesn't make you stupid. I know a lot about cars but I'm new to Audi, so my knowledge of Audi is very minimal.

Has anyone else had these problems? Or are they normal for Audi's?
