2011/2012 vs. 2013 S5 & Options
Looking at an S5 w/ 3.0T Supercharger and dual-clutch setup.
For those who have already driven both or done extensive research, what are your opinions on the 2011/2012 vs. 2013 handling in the S5? There's a huge price delta on CPOs vs. new obviously, so wondering if there is something beyond the steering feel (love the new flat-bottom style wheel). There aren't a lot of CPO 3.0Ts in my area to test drive. Other features I've not been able to A/B compare: 1. Sport Differential Upgrade 2. 6-speed vs. 7-speed 3. Does the wheel actually make a difference or is it just cosmetic? 4. Premium vs. Prestige Package (they're all Prestige in the ones I have test driven) 5. Magnetic Ride I know I'm giving up blue tooth streaming and a few infotainment options if I go earlier than 2013, but I'd hate to let any of that get in the way between a great deal on that S5 supercharged engine sound. I'm also looking at S5 cab and S4 w/ the same options, but my primary plans for a project car are built around the S5 coupe. Just in case you have contacts at Anderson so I could get a parts list for this: matte black S5 - Bing Images |
