2011 Audi A4 CEL flashing (list of codes)
Alright, well I made a post a while ago in regards to the trouble my girlfriends A4 was having, (stuttering while driving, EPC light flashes every time it stumbles, and then the other day it had a very rough idle, but it would drive fine, so I got her to drive it home and park it.) Anyways, we ordered a HEX V2, and waited a week for it to arrive. When we got it, we went to turn the car on, the CEL was flashing accompanied by the rough idle. So obviously a misfire condiiton? I have absolutely no experience with Audi's so Im hoping someone will point me in the right direction. Codes are as follows:
[4096- Bank 1 CMP Sensor (G40)/ Engine Speed Sensor (G28) P0016 00 [232] Incorrect Correlation.
[4010]- Idle Control System / P0506 00 [237] RPM Lower Than Expected
[4113]- Camshaft Position Sensor/ (G40) P0341 00 [104]- Implausible Signal
[5582]- Oil Pressure Switch for reduced oil pressure
[4054]- Cylinder 1 P0301 00 [237]- Misfire Detected
[4601]- Cold Start Idle Air Control System
[4051]- Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
I was told the camshaft position sensor had been replaced just before she bought it, so I'm wondering if any of this could be timing related? Is it possible to check timing with the VCDS software? Apparently the timing belt had been replaced with a timing chain upgrade, something like that, so makes me wonder if maybe it was a tooth off....although it drove fine for about a month after she bought it and Id think if the timing was off it would've started right aways..anyways, is it possible if the coils are shot that they could be tripping the other codes as well?
Thanks in advance
