3.2fsi high coolant consumption
My 2009 A4 B8 is finishing the coolant almost on a daily basis. What are the tell tales sings of a blown up head gasget on these cars? The car still drives, it doesnt over heat, but i have to refill the coolant almost daily now?
How do i do a DIY pressure test?

If it was a head gasket, it would be putting out white, sweet smelling, smoke. The coolant systems on these cars must be bled of all the air. If not, it will puke it out. There should be air bleeders located on the heater hoses as the go through the firewall. Open them as you put coolant in. Once you see a little coolant starting to come out, close each one. Just how much coolant are you having to add. A quart or two.. Anything more would probably indicate a leak somewhere.
In order to pressure test, you need an adapter to go onto the coolant reservoir. The coolant system operates at about 15-20PSI go is you test, to NOT go any higher than that or you'll pop a rubber hose. Murphy's law dictates it will be the most inaccessible one that pops..
