86 5000 CS Turbo Wagon, Fuel Distributor

Ok, so I have an 86 Turbo Wagon, I have replaced the Hall Sensor, Warm up valve, Temperature sensors, and many other great parts...I finally got it started again and it, ran really great for about 10 min. it too off great...then it started to act like it was running out of gas...I limpped it back to the house, when I pulled the codes it came out 4444 (showing no fault codes sent...) I played with the fuel distributor and plentum, and it seems hard to move up and down (Like it was sticking) so I will be pulling it down tomorrow for cleaning...Is there any thing else any one has encountered?????

Oh yeahh, i had that exact problem with my 5000CD.

The car was sitting around for 2 years with fuel sitll in the lines, and it was a disaster. The plentum would barely move, and it should be as free as you can. I just tok the whole fuel system out of my car, and cleaned it all out, bled it many times with with cleaners. As for the fuel distributions system, alot of carb cleaner worked very well for me, i sprayed the arm as much as i could, and when i was done, id do it again.

A good iea to do is also tl clean all your vacuum hoses and bootms, like plentum boot, which is just disgusting to touch on the inside, and took a good can for a cleaning.

Its all for the best, good luck
