Ok, I have 98 A4 1.8T QM with 79k. Last june I had to replace my headlight combination switch which cost me at the dealership about $600. The new switch just went out again. I took it in to Audi and they said that they couldn't find a problem and that I needed a new switch again! They said there was a 12 month or 12k warranty on the part but I was 900 miles over the milage limit. I don't want to spend another 600 on a new switch, what can I do? Have any of you had a similiar problem? How hard is it to replace this combination swtich yourself? Thanks for all you help !!
