A3 1.8 Power Loss When Cold
Hi recently purchased a A3 with 87000kms which had a faulty air bag alarm showing. Took it to Audi garage so seller would pay to fix, garage found electrical resistance and therefore cleaned seat belt tension sensors. When collecting air bag alarm still showing and a loss of power developed on accelerating.
This morning same power loss when cold - it seemed as if there was a restrictor at 30kms, accelerating became normal when car was warm.
Took back to garage for air bag and power loss.
Air bag to be fixxed later with new parts and paid by seller.
Power loss checked and garage could not replicate power loss, however when we picked up car the same power loss occured. Garage did state on second diagnostic that the sensor in the exhaust was faulty but would not cause this issue.
This power loss was not there when we originally took the car in for the air bag issue.
Can anyone advise where or what I can do to sort as I have no faith in the Audi garage.
