Recently had one of the three engine mounts in my car break, and not just shear the bolt but break off a chunk from the engine, causing that mount spot to not be useable anymore. The dealer gave me an option to continue using the engine with only two bolts instead of three so i wouldnt have to buy a new engine. The techs at the dealer assured me that 2 bolts would be just fine...Anyone had or heard of someone having this problem and how did it play out?
