A3 wipers erratic behaviour
Hi,
I've got a 2005 A3 SE and am having trouble with the wipers sometimes just stop half way through a wipe! and no matter what wipe mode I put them in, they just won't budge until I restart the car.
Do you think it's to do with the wiper relay?
It has rain sensors by the way.

I have a 2000 A4 which had the same problem, it would stop with the wipers up. Did some googling and found that the 377 relay to be the culprit. Have since I have changed it and not had any problems, however I should look into a new mechanism and wiper motor because no doubt the old relay was put under more pressure by the parts getting older and hence failing.
Called Audi for the replacement part cost and they quoted me £50+VAT, ended up getting one from a Passat at a breakers yard
