Default A4 2002 creeks while driving

All,

My A4 2002, starts to creek when it starts but it is now also creeking when I drive. The creeks are louder in cold whether and they are louder with sharper turns.

Previously, I thought it was the engine since it happened prior to movement. But, it is getting worse and it is now evident that there is something else wrong, possibly the steering.

What can I do to fix this horrible problem.

Thanks for helping, All efforts are appreciated.

Check your outer tie rods and lower control arms. You can try lubricating the arms one at a time to isolate the noise.

upper suspension linksare worn had the very same problem last week on 2003 passat could hardly hear yourself when driving slowley noy very easy to isolate though other than that try the main bolts that hold crossmember to body these need to be extra tight to stop movement
