A4 3.0 Engine Noise
I have a 2003 A4 with the 3.0 engine. When at higher RPMs I hear a loud clicking noise from the engine. The timing belt is new, I run premium gas. Has anyone heard of this before? Anything to be concerned about?

I don't know what it is but I would definatley be concerned if my 3.0 did that I'd freak. does it sound anything like the start up noise from the tensioners?
Are you sure it's from the engine and not the CV Joints?

A clicking noise at high RPM's on the 3.0L is common with bad cam shafts. I hope this isn't your problem though.
