Im new to the site after I have just brought myself my first audi.

I have a few things to sort on it. The first being that the drivers and passengers seat don't move forwards or backwards. I had a quick look underneath but couldn't see much.

The car is also lowered 40mm on 18inch alloys. The rear is very hard and very little give.
The car was set up like this when I brought it. The Guy I brought it off couldn't remember what springs was used.

Anyone have any ideas on what could have gone wrong with the front seats. And suggest a good suspension set up so its low but not to low

 

Had a friend look at the rear springs. One of them seems to have collapsed. The chap thinks the old springs have been cut on the rear and when I went over a speed bump that it collapsed. (Annoyed if this is the case as have had two small children in the back of the car)

New 40mm springs have arrived and being fitted thursday
