Hi all,

The sprung cover that flips up to cover the cavity around the boot latch has become detached The little metal rectangle on the metal sill):



I've undone the 4 screws/bolts that are along the edge of the sill but the thing won't come off - any advice how to get it off so I can fix the flap?

Given the choice I would probably just remove it - it just looks like a liability to me.
