A4 Clutch
I helped a friend to tow his car out of a ditch ,when i smelled my cluch burning .Id like to know how to test and see if the cluch
is still OK.

many ways. where does your clutch ingage, placement on the pedal way.
go like 30 MPH stick the 5 gear and flore it if RPM goes up but the car is not acelerating then you have a problem and clutch is skiping.
