I've just noticed that the passenger side (UK) tail light and reverse light are not working on my '95 A4. The indicator and fog light are working fine. Could this just be a coincidence that both bulbs have blown or something more sinister? I haven't looked inside the cluster yet, as it's dark and I'll have to wait till tomorrow! Do those little plastic plugs that secure the back panel of the light cluster just pull out, or is there a certain technique? This is the first time I've had to do this on my Audi and I don't want to break it! Suggestions?

 

Be careful when pulling the plug out because you can bend the pins within quite easily. I had a similar problem with my lights - I just changed the bulbs, get the connects a bit of a dusting and it never happened again - otherwise just make sure your fuses are ok
