A4. You might not be able to get it as fast as the S4 initally but with the massive amount of money saved on insurance you could.

5 grand in A4 would min GT28 from rent art. 300-350
1 grand in S4 means a chip and some other stuff, or 350 on 2.7T.
hmm hard choise, but I always loved V6 for ts power, or 1.8 for its light weight and durability of na 1.8

Read some of the forums because S4 have some issues.... I'm going through them right now...

1. SAMCO SILCONE HOSES (old ones were dry and cracked. the throatle body one had a happy-face) $450
2. BAILEY D/VALVES (had cracks in the piston) $330 (2)
3. COOLANT EXPANSION TANK (old and dry/ cracked) $50
4. SECONDARY WATER PUMP (rusted by hose area) $150
5. FUEL LEVEL SENDING UNIT (the last one lost its floater) $180

Hope this helps...

S4 all day. everyones got an A4, you just dont seen enough nice S4's on the road. But it all depends what condition you get it in, dont buy a piece of crap with a million miles on it, youd be asking for trouble. the insurance isn't really a huge differance, for me an A4 was only 400 a yr. less.

My reply/ coment was to give some insight as to what problems one might encure or may not. Oh yeah and my peice of crap has a million and one miles on it. Still runs strong and would not give it up for all rice in the world.
