heres the thing i just bought an ecu with GIAC sofewareoff vw vortex and i put it in and nothing happened. I took it to auto assets and they scanned the ecu with vag com and used a flashloader and it didn't evenread the software. i was wondering if this has happened to anyone else. if so i need feed back asap. ECU codes matched perfectly also. Mainly i need to know how to get the car out of safe modethanks

 

Sounds like you have a bum ECU, or the wrong flash. Vag it again, write down the software # & contact GIAC about it.
