not so long ago - the march noreaster of '07 - I kinda-sorta messed up my tiptronic by getting my baby stuck in about a foot and a half of snow. So now, I got yet another one of my crazy ideas: why not swap it for a manual 6-speed? Especially seeing how a rebuilt tiptronic will set me back the kind of money I really do not have and would not spend even if I had it... I know that swapping an automatic for a manual is no walk in the park either, but at least this way I will get a bonus out of it. Here's what I'm considering though: should I even bother or simply take the hit on re-sale and find me another A6 2.7t with a 6-speed that does not need all the work?
