a6 driver door won't open! Help?
 

Hi, I have an A6 2.7t. The driver's door won't open, so i'm currently climbing through via the passenger side!

Anyone know any tips or how to open it, without me having to pay and Audi dealer through the nose to get it fixed!

Pleaes help?

Your gonna have to take the door panel off to get inside and manually release the latch. Since the door doesnt open your probably going to damage the door panel a little getting it off. Its only held on by two screws on the front and rear, but you wont be able to acces them witht he door closed. From there you should be able to see whats wrong with the latch.

good luck getting that door panel off in one piece. one of my co-workers had a similar problem on an 2005 A8 just recently, we sawed off the door panel.

theres a lock cylinder in the door right??? insert the key and turn it back and forth while pulling the door handle. you have to hit it in just the right spot to get it to pop, may happen on the 1st try, may take 15 minutes. don
