ABS system fault SO EXPENSIVE
 

Help! ABS fault! Someone has already posted about this, I can't find the thread. I have an A4 with 28k on the clock. The ABS fault light came on and my garage have checked it over. They are saying i need an entirely new unit at a cost of £2700!!!. How is this possible on a car with low mileage? Really appreciate some help with understanding this. They say a reconditioned part (cheaper) may not be able to be calibrated. Please HELP...THIS IS CRAZY MONEY! THANK YOU.
