Hello all,

A strange thing happened in my 05 A8L this AM. I was going around a turn and was accelerating. When I took my foot off the gas the car kept accelerating, almost like a cruise control "resume" I stepped on the brakes and the car slowed down... when I took my foot off the brake the car accelerated again. I stepped on the brakes harder and the car slowed and the acceleration stopped.

I called Audi service as soon as I got in and the tech said he had one other person complain of this, they tested the car and nothing came back.

I was wondering if anyone else had a problem like this. Perhaps a stuck throttle body??

Let me know as I want to get this resolved before it is an issue...

 

This has happened to me a few times in my 2004 A8L. It almost seems that there are two pedal positions for full throttle. There is what seems pedal all the way down and then you can even push it farther. This happened to me when putting the accelerator pedal all the way down.
