Hey guys...my Mom decided she wanted to steal my car today from me, and when I got back in my seat was all out of whack so I messed with it for a good 5 mintues before I found my perfect setting. However, after doing this I realized that my Air Bag light came on, and I was wondering if possibly i disrupted some wiring under the seat or something of that sort, and if this has happened to anyone else were you able to reconnect any loose wiring, or did you have to take it in to a dealer? Thanks for any advice/help!

P.S. - I'm in a 2000 A4 1.8TQM so ya.

 

You'll have to take it somewhere to get the code cleared. But yeah I always had the same issue with my old a4, and I've seen quite a few others do the same. They have quite a bit of problems with loose/dirty connections under the seat.
