Alarm + Lights when parked at angle
Hello,
I have a 2004 1.8T Quattro AWD 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl Turbo 5A).
When I park the car on a uneven surface (i.e. the side of the road where the gutter end is at a slope) and turn it off, an alarm sounds from the dash when I open the door and the side of the car that is at the lower angle has the headlight and brake light illuminated.
The alarm stops when I close the door, but the lights stay on for what seems indefinitely.
Any idea what this alarm means and what I can do about it? I searched the forums for similar topics and couldn't find anything so sorry if this has already been asked.
