I know a few of you guys actually WORK for VAG, in one form or another... Canya lookup and see if ANY other models headlight assy's fit a D2's? Finding one for LESS than $Arm+$Leg is proving difficult and, knowing car maunfacturers like I do, I KNOW there's parts intervchangabilitty. Economics MANDATES that they have parts that are usable across more than one platform. So, did Audi spread the cost of headlight assy's around? Well... DID they?

 

Headlight assemblys arent one of the cheaper items out there. As far as i know they are different for all model lines. You may want to try the junk yards, both local and internet, you may be able to find a used one at considerable savings.

 

I guess that's why these beasts cost so much, huh?
