Car is from 2002, Audi A4 (8E) 2,496 liter diesel, manual box,

Car running ok then goes into "limp mode", max rpm 3000, no power when going up inclines, when car ignition turned off the electric engine fan runs at full speed for 5-10 minutes. If you turn ignition on and back off it sometimes stops the fan. There are no warning lights showing in the car. If driving and problem occurs can sometime clear the problem by switching ignition off and back on.

Any suggestions welcome.

I've been driving a regular 4 cylinder nissan crossover and i hate it, it doesn't suit me, there is no pullup, every time i step on the pedal, the engine just rev and slowly increase in speed. Im thinking in getting a Audi a4 and its has a 16v I4 turbo (stock) engine. I just want to know whats the difference between the 16v I4 turbo engine and a regular 4 cylinder, and how much of a difference is it.
