I'm new to this forum as I desperately need some advice!

I think my turbo has gone this morning on my way into work.
I was pulling onto the motorway and accelerating up to about 65mph when the car sudden lost power. It didn't lose all power but the turbo was definitely not providing any boost.
I believe the engine has gone into some sort of "safe mode" as the power is down so much.

I've made some calls to find a reconditioned turbo but am being advised that I need to ensure that I get the correct turbo as there are a few variants.

I've spoken to Audi who won't give me the part number of the turbo I need.

Can anyone offer any assistance with identifying the part number for the turbo I need?

Also...I need to travel 15 miles back home later today, will driving the car do any damage to the engine?
