Default Audi A4 3.0L will not start

Hello,

I am having a lot of difficulty troubleshooting a non-start problem. I have a 2004 Audi A4 Quattro, auto transmission with the gas 3.0L. I decided almost two years ago to buy this car with a blown head gasket. I took it apart and found no warping in the aluminum head or engine block using a Starret straight edge and .002 shim. I cleaned everything off, inside and out and reassembled.

The engine cranks but will not start. It is getting fuel and the injectors are working. There is spark going to all 6 cylinders, compression is about 140 for all cylinders but they are cold, and I have done a leak down test and all 6 cylinders are around 15 percent. There are no check engine lights and the scanner shows that the engine speed sensor is working. The cluster shows that I am low on coolant and the yellow oil light comes on but the oil level is fine on the dip stick.

Any thoughts?
Thank you.

Could be the cam sensors not talking. The ECU uses the crank (engine speed sensors) and the cam sensors to decide when to fire the plugs. Usually the cam sensors are easy to replace. One on the end of each intake cam. OR........ If you're like me, I've forgotten to plug the damned things up from time to time. LOL
