Audi A8 problem
 

Hi,


I have a problem with my AUDI A8 model year 2004 and would be really grateful if anyone could help me with the following issue:
- on the LCD screen behind the sterring wheel suddenly appeared some kind of numbers - like a digital clock( 2:15; 0:11). Does anybody have any idea what does could be?

Try pushing the button on the bottom of the right stalk. You might have stumbled upon the stop watch function. Its a function that will go off if you have come across the elapsed time. For instance on my A4 i have mine set to 2 hours, so on long trips it would flash 2:00 on the LCD screen, why the hell our cars need this is beyond me....

Oh, if you don't have a button on the bottom of the right stalk, then you may have to program it through the MMI system. Check your owner's manual for programming directions.

That you for your quick reply and all your suggestions. I guess the problem will go away thru MMI system, I will try to work it out.
