Default Audi D454300A2 Sealant - Does this stuff cure?

I'm looking for someone who has used the Audi D464300A2 sealant for valve and timing chain covers. I've used DC730 as my go-to sealant for Audi S4 valve/timing-chain covers in the past, which definitely cures, but I decided to use the Audi recommended sealant (D 454 300 A2) this time since it was half the price of the DC730. This stuff looks like blue silicone grease and has not shown any signs of curing in the last 48 hours?!? The expiration date on the tube is 10/2025 so it hasn't expired, and I haven't been able to find any technical data or SDS for this stuff online. I've seen recommendations for Permatex and other curing-type sealers in the forums, but I've never seen any references to non-curing sealers for this application. Does anyone out there have experience using this stuff for valve/timing chain covers? I'm hoping it's supposed to work this way so I don't have to tear everything apart again to replace some bad sealant. Thanks.
