Default Audi System Auto Check

Short story: is there a way to disable the Audi auto system check?

Long story: I recently purchased a 1993 Audi 100 CS. The brakes were jut replaced less than a week ago, but the auto check sensor doesn't acknowledge this and jeeps beeping at me. I asked the Audi dealer about it and he said they didn't have the brake pads with the sensors, but the pads he put on are the same thing minus the sensors. Also, the headlight sensor is also flashing, but the mechanic checked every lightbulb and they were all working. It's super annoying to be driving down the road and having the auto check system beep at me. Is there any way I can fix / disable the beeping?

Lastly, is it possible to install an aftermarket cd player in my Audi? I'd like to put in a kenwood from my old car that has an auxillary jack in it for my mp3 player. Thanks for your help in advance.

Tony

Well, you could disable it permanently by removing the instrument cluster and shorting the sensor to ground... or you could buy a set of these:

Sweet, thanks. I'll pick up a couple of those. Any ideas about the brake / headlights? I think I'm just going to stick with the stock Audi tape deck and buy a tape auxiliary combination.
