Audi TT 2003 ary engine broken pipe I.d

Hi can somebody tell me what the black box is above the left light with the two pipes on top? I don't no how to upload a image sorry

Probably the air filter box for the intake. Plastic pipe about 3 inches in diameter? If it's broken or cracked, it won't be running very well.

Broken pipe

It on the drivers side below the power steering refill very small black pipe connected to a black box on the top of it???
