Hi guys,
I am having a problem with my Audi TT 2004. We had alot of rains in kenya and the roads were bad, so i didnt drive my TT but did start it every other day.
Afew days ago i started it and the engine did not seem to have power and is cutting off after a few seconds. The Emission control system light ls on even after i start the car. I also am having problems starting the car. I recently changed my car battery in november.

Please help me solve this problem

You will need someone with a scanner to read the fault codes for a start.

You may need to adapt the throttle body due to the battery change. M5S5 is right - pull the codes.

These are the codes that i got.
We checked that there was water in the fuel tank. so we drained all the water and fuel and also now have replaced the Fuel filter.

P0441 fuel evapouration system, flow rate faulty
P0299 boost pressure control, below control limit
P0303 combustion failure cylinder 3 detected
P0304combustion failure cylinder 4 detected
P0302 combustion failure cylinder 2 detected

The car is still jerking while driving

Any suggestions ?

You're misfiring in cylinders 2-4. Pull all the spark plugs, dry the cylinders, replace the plugs with new ones (gapped to .032" if the car is stock), clear the codes, and try again. If it misfires again, scan to see which cylinders, and start swapping coil packs around. If the fault codes move with the packs, replace them.

Thanks for the feedback guys,
Ok... i removed the spark plugs in all cylinders, cleaned and fitted back. As i said before, i changed the fuel filter as well. the car is missfiring as well as the Electronic emmission light is on ( Engine light)

We had a look at the exhaust pipe and the catalytic converter was fine but some sensor cables had been burnt. Could this bee due to the catalytic converter being too hot ?
Could there be a fault in the oxygen sensor ?

Its been a months since the car has been driven and its painfull....
