B5 A4 Leaking! Please Help!

Here's the situation. My girlfriend owns an A4 and it started leaking stuff pretty recently. I put it up on ramps last night to see where it was leaking from. There appears to be two leaks. Here are the pics.

The car's a B5, A4 quattro with ~82k miles, auto, 1.8T. The front tires were put on ramps so the car was sitting at about 15 degree from level. It sat there and dripped for ~ 10 hours.

Can anyone tell me what is dripping and possibly how to fix it? I don't really wrench on this car so I'm not familiar with it at all.

Thanks in advance.

Derek

the one at the back of the trany is ovosly a seal, not quite sure what to call it but shouln't be that hard to replace. as for the other one, can you tell what kind of fluid it is. smell, taste, anything.

The shaft goes into the tranny housing on mine started to leak. I got that one replaced for under $300. Yours look like where I had my problem.
