B5 S4 Has No First Or Second
Hey All... First off let me start off by introducing myself. My names Pasquale, and I have a 2000 S4 6 Speed M/T. Im from Westchester County, NY.
So the other day, i was on my way home on the highway, and i was cruising in 6th and all the sudden all I could smell was clutch. I pulled over, couldn't get the shifter into any gear at all so i let it sit for a few minutes. Eventually I could get it into 3rd,4th,5th,6th & Reverse. I ended up driving about 15 miles and made it home fine. The next morning i went to move the car, still not being able to move the shifter into first or second and it was fine for a couple minutes. Then all the sudden, when i put it into reverse or 3rd and up I can let the clutch out completely and the car wont move at all, even if i rev it up. I have my idea's on what it is, but what do you all think it can be? Thanks for the help everyone.
