I have an 01 A8L 4.2. My CEL light has been on for three months and driving fine with no problem. But two weeks ago every time I accelerated past 3,500 RPM my engine would stall or die. The symptoms would be least when the car was cold and worst when hot... I am getting terrible gas mileage now as well. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I am thinking possibly the Mass air flow meter...Thanks
