my front right light is out... how much shoudl a bulb be (non hid) and is it easy to instal myself?

 

its a H7 bulb cost about $30 for a good pair of sylvania silverstars, otherwise tehy can be cheap as $15, installation is as follow,
1. remove teh cap on back of headlights
2. pull out connection and unclip the bulb
3. replace bulb

 

does it say h7 on the bulb if i pull it out?

 

it should, all B5's are H7 bulbs, trust me ive replaced plenty of bulbs on my audis (yes ive had several, bulbs go out every now and then and now im running HIDs.)

 

how much are you looking at by just getting hids?

 

you can get a good set for about 80-100 bucks but worth every penny best bang for your buck mod you can do

 

^^ agreed i got mine from vvme.com like most guys for 72 shipped, yeah youll see it like 42 for the kit and 30 for shipping but thats how they get ya. but def worth it since many kits sell for 250+. get H7 bulbs (just need the low beems) and get 4300k if you want the most light output or 6000k which is till good, anything higher and its be bluer-violet but not good for driving. everythings plug and play.
