Good Morning, all:

Ok, I've got a question for everyone. You know those nice, crimped, shiny hose camps that are factory installed on our cars? I've started doing a bunch of maintenance on my cars, and I really don't want to put the screw-type clamps on in place of the band clamps because, well, they're just not as pretty, and I really just have no love for the traditional screw-clamps.

Where can I purchase the clamps and the special pilers/tools/whatever to put the clamps on?

The worst part is that I was a band geek back in the day (way before the movie was made. Perhaps even before the actors were born). I went to band camp. We had a flute player named Michelle that wasn't really that much different than the character in the movie. And no, I'm not kidding, she was that bad.The movie's description of Band Camp wasn't too far from the truth, either. I was laughing so hard I cried in the theatre.


I've been digging though some German Parts stores and some other retailers and have had some luck, but most are really expensive and/or in large lots only (packs of 100-200 clamps. I need, like 10 at a time). I figure someone on here has seen them somewherethat I'm not going to think of.

NAPA, they cost the same as the screw type if maybe a a few cents more, but the tool to crimp them cost something like $25
