Best Maintenance Manual for Newbie?

I own an Audi A4 Quattro but I don't know much about cars. I can describe what many of the parts of a car are but if you popped the hood and had me pointed it out I would be pretty clueless.

What's the best maintenance manual that someone with almost no mechanical car experience can use and still understand what's going on? I was thinking about buying a Chiltons but I've seen mixed reviews on their newbie friendliness.

What are your thoughts?

Humble opinion ... Chilton and Haynes near worthless. Get the Bentley Publishing manual. Available on amazon for 68- US.
I've had Bentley manuals for bmw e30 and e34, and also Range Rover. They are clear and detailed. Also they have suggestions for testing procedures that are easy to follow.
Chilton and Haynes have poor illustrations and photos and the directions are vague and generalized, esp. if you have limited experience. The Bentley would actually be a good teaching tool. I actually just ordered one for myself as I have recently bought a 98 a4. Regards.

I have an 05 A4 B7 - the manual is on Amazon for $94.00. I'll spend the money if it's worth it, but that's a lot more than I wanted to spend. Are there any close followers to Bentley that wouldn't follow the price tag so closely? I'm not planning on rebuilding the engine or doing any major work - just want a good guide for the basic to moderate things.
