the car - '98 A4 1.8TQ 162,000k

Ok, so I just installed my VDO boost/vac gauge. And much to my surprise, my boost seems to be peaking at 6psi...max. under normal boost im am hitting 4-5psi. I've looked for leaks and whatnot but just can't seem to find any. I've got a forge007 that I have yet to install, mayhaps my stock dv is leaking. Any tips or tricks to fixing this little issue would be greatly appreciated.

might be the DV but you know its not gunna pull much more than 7 if your not chipped

 

From what I've read stock boost is between 7-9psi, I just assumed 7 normaly and spiking to about 9. But thanks for the quick reply, if anyone else has anything would be greatly appreciated.
