breaks? HELP!
I tried it, but just tapping the break lightly, like when releasing the cruise control,at 60+ mph causes the jackhammer sound. Doesn't do it at parkinglot speeds though. Will do it everytime over 30mph.
Ok, cleaned the pads and rotors. Think I might have a warped rotor. Can't see it, but it feels "wrong" when you rub your hand over it with your eyes closed. I know that's odd, but true. Also, the jackhammer thing is still there, so I'll be messing with the rotors later. Thanks for all the help so far guys. This forum is so cool!
Alright. I've been driving the car for about 2 weeks now. The jackhammering sound has gotten less noticable. Is it possible the pads are reseating themselves? Also I will get the rotors checked out but if they're bad, should I have them turned, replace them or upgrade?
hmmm for the cd error1, this happens because the cd u r playing is either mp3 or wma or u didnt finalize the cd before u burned it...for the brakes i kinda have the same problem its just that my abs completely just does not work....
Well, my brakes problem is going away. I cleaned them with break cleaner really well and did some hard stops to reset the pads and it all seems to be working fine. Also, the CD error was on all cds so I just am replacing the Head Unit altogether with another one from ebay.
