Can I pull my transmission?

Default Can I pull my transmission?
I need to remove the motor and transmission form my 1998 A6. My Bentley manual does not cover the removal of the automatic trany. Why not? Is there a danger I should know about? Or is it simular to removal of the manual trany? Any help. Thanks.
