Generation II+ radio with iPod (DTC 00857 stored in radio)
Release date:Jul 19, 2007
Condition
•
DTC 00857 004 (CD changer R41: no signal/communication sporadic) is stored in the radio generation II+ (Blaupunkt).
•
The vehicle has an iPod adapter installed PR code (UF1 or PBA).
•
The iPod functions properly.
Technical Background
The radio generation II+ (Blaupunkt) does not always properly recognize the iPod in the external CD changer position. This may cause the DTC 00857 004 (CD changer R41: no signal/communication sporadic) to be stored in the radio.
The first one is a very common problem.
