I have a 1997 A4 with approx. 135,000 miles on it with an automatic transmission. Ever since I bought the car it has had this issue. Everytime I come to a stop at a normal rate, the engine acts as if it will stall. But if I come to a stop at a much slower rate, this does not occur. I do not have any check engine lights and everything else with the car seems fine. Has anyone else had a similar issue? Do you know the cause for this? Thanks for any help.
