Car won't start after fitting of tow bar :/
I had my regular workshop for a Westfalia original tow bar on my Audi A5, 2.7 TDI multitronic from 2009.
It all installed as it should, but when I went to drive it off, it wouldn't start
They have checked 2 fuses near the battery, fuses in the rights side of the trunk, fuses beside both doors and they all seem to be OK.
When I put the key into the car it the lights light up, I can hear the fuel pump and then nothing... It's not even attempting to start the car.
The workshop has talked to some experts in Denmark and they said the car has to be connected to Audi to get it up and running after installation of a tow bar. I find this highly unlikely, as I have read about lots of other people who have fitted their own tow bar with no such issues.
What can be causing my problem? :/
