Car won't start, just did cam chain tensioner gasket seals
Car: 2001 audi a6 2.7 quattro. 105k.
Hey guys,
I had leaky cam chain tensioner gasket seals so I replaced them this weekend. The drivers side was a major hassle but it finally got done. I put everything back the right way and then went to start the car and it turns over a few times then stops. It won't fire or start. I did disconnect the few lines from the intake manifold when I removed the passenger side valve cover but everything was re connected properly.
Could it not be getting gas?
What woud cause this?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
I am not getting any cels, or ones that are pending.

Chances are it's not set correctly. First one I did looked right but wouldn't start. Took it back apart and it was off by one link. You need to check it again. What we do now isfully assemble it, except the valve cover, and hand-rotate the engine a full revolution of the cams. Do that and if the timing marks still line up right, with 16 links from mark to mark, then you know you're good.
