Default CD Changer Problems

In my a4- I have a Sony CD Changer that "replaced" (still dont know if the original was broken) my factory one. I dont know too much about audio, but when I play a burned cd in the car (audio file or mp3) it sounds fuzzy and sometimes the bass sounds like ****. I even tryed burning a cd of a cd (just to narrow down if the quality of the songs being burned was the factor) and it came out like **** too. Anybody ever heard of this?

Basically this means I can buy cds and play them, but I cant make mixes! (I hate listening to the same guy over and over) Radio and cd's from the store come out perfectly fine..

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I think its a problem with the burner rather than the cd player. There is a lot of ways you can burn a cd, burning them for high quality sound usually takes a long time and has to be done with a good software equipment, for example Windows Media Player is NOT a good way to burn a cd, the sound quality is never that good. Try using a friends cd burner and see if the quality is any better and you will know your answer.
