I own a 2003 Certified Pre-owned A4 and after 6mos of use my CD player crapped out on me. Everytime I try to play a CD i get "CD error" and the player spits the CD back out at me. I took it to the dealership to have it checked out and they told me i need to buy a brand new CD console (new $900, used about $300) because this isn't covered under my warranty. [:@]

Has anyone run across this problem before and had it repaired?

If not does anyone have any suggestions on a replacement console? I was thinking maybe a used RNS-E or something similar that fits my model.

Can't repair the CD player."CD ERROR"Ive seen this alot and usually it's gets replaced under warranty. Your just gonna have to buy a new one. And your gonna need special keys to take out the old cd player.
