Hello, Just want to run an issue we have with the central locking by you all to see if anyone has any ideas on how to fix.....

The car - A3
1. Year of car - 2009
2. Model of car - TDI 1.9
3. What engine - Diesel
4. Miles - 80000

Ok, the central locking works fine apart from the front passenger door (It's a 5 door). The door will lock fine with the central locking but it will not unlock with the central locking and you have to open it using the handle inside.

I bought a second hand window motor (identical part number and like for like swap) When i put this motor on, the unlock problem still existed but rather strangely the rear passenger door stopped locking on the central locking and the rear passenger electric window stopped working..... I have now had to put the original part back on and am back to where i was!

Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks Gary
